I dont think the game is THAT bad... As long as you play draft pick

I see a lot of negativity on the boards and while i agree league is currently in a worse state than usual, i wouldn’t say it’s the worst it has ever been.

As long as you play draft pick and ban the absolutely worst offenders (speaking of which, nice work to Riot for making just under 30 champions oppressively strong after we get 10 bans. Ensures there are always extremely overpowered picks to be made for people that only follow the meta regardless of ban phase)

Sure, you frequently see two smites on both teams and team comps dont seem to matter at all anymore, but it’s not like the game is completely unplayable.

Season 2’s Atmogs, season 3’s Riven, Season 4’s feral flare udyr, season 5’s darius and tank ekko decided entire 40 minute matches all on their own. Not to mention the ardent cancer meta. Riot’s true damage fetish is hardly the first «broken» state the game has been in.

A year from now the game will probably have completely different things to complain about.

Well, either that or it’ll almost have no players left due to stagnation.

Tl;dr the game has been just as broken as this before and changed completely, so there is still hope Riot can turn back from the absurd state of the game come preseason.
