when you sit there waiting for 10 minutes, then you stand up to get a glass of water. literally takes you 30 seconds to get back to your computer. when you come back, you realized you missed the afk check, thus giving you a 30 minute ban. gg
maybe if the match matching system didnt take 10 minutes, we could actually do one full sitting. just throwing a crazy thought out there.
The only way to shorten the queue times is to force players to play the roles more evenly and/or play more roles, or increase the MMR range that you can be matched with. Increasing the MMR range just creates really bad games, and forcing people into the high priority roles is exactly what players wanted the New Champ Select for. Hell, some people even want to queue for just 1 role.
Matchmaking doesn't take as long as it does for no reason. They can't just lower it with no repercussions on the players. If your queue times are so high, it's because you play low priority roles; if you want lower times you can take it upon yourself to queue for higher priority ones.
