When they added in the Relic Shield and buffed him during pre-season 4 he made a pretty huge comeback and had to be nerfed again for dazzling too many botlanes. He was around about a year ago and then they nerfed him so that his flowing locks wouldn't complete distract the enemy botlane 2v1

Discounting ARAM, I think that's the last time I saw him as well...

I believe I heard something about a kit update though? I could be mistaken. Targeted stuns seem to be going out of style anyways.

I've seen jungle taric a few times at this point in PS5.

He was buffed and given a new passive around this time last year. I remember 1v2ing the enemy botlane many times with him. After being deemed too OP his numbers were drastically reduced so hes back to being a niche pick as support against assassins, Braum and Leona. Nobody really plays him

Indeed. Right after his changes I was basically 1vs2 at lvl 2 against Vayne and Zyra xD

Yea I remember this. He had spotlight for like a month or so, even semi viable top. Then disappeared :\
