With the changes to support items added in this pbe cycle, I, as a Rakan main, believe he will be able to start taking relic shield to start instead of ancient coin. The price of the finished relic item is decreased by 500, if these changes go through. For 500 health and 200% BASE health regen, 1800 gold is nothing. If Rakan is able to finish this item first then rush into a tank item, he could be a great front line for his team. However, this should mostly be done when the team lacks frontline, meaning the rest of the silvers on your team picked squishy carries. Coin Rakan will still be dominant, but relic will be viable.
