Why do I have to put up with toxic pings?

It tilts me so hard to be ping spammed with the "?" all game fucking game.

The one that tilted me the most is when I pinged MIA for them on their lane and they took it as me pinging them in a toxic way and i had to deal with the ping spam all game.

It's the most tilting that should be able to be muted

you dont have to put up with it... you also have to understand the maturity level of the player base you are playing with... some of this is to be expected if you cant deal with that and ignore it... just dont play ( ps that is how you dont put up with it )

I understand the playerbase is immature to the extent of spamming for 5 minutes, but if I can mute their chat, I should be able to mute their pings as well......

you can go into settings and set the vol level.

I understand that, but I can still visually see it on my screen being spammed

A lot of players would agree that there should be a mute button to pings

Yeah, i agree that if you've already decided to mute a player for something like chat toxicity, then their pings should be muted as well.

The problem with that is that a lot of people mute everyone at the start of the game so they don't see anything in the chat, but still communicate with pings.

Perhaps if there was an option under settings to mute pings when you mute someone...

You can mute pings- granted, you drop the volume down to zero under sound settings. You still see the pings, but you can no longer hear them.

When you get into an engage you shouldn't have and are trying to focus on escaping/surviving and your teammates are just spamming ??? under your feet. Like yes, this isn't distracting at all when I'm already in trouble, thank you very much. I had no idea I was in danger.
