A new form of evil...

All other Teemo players build AP(for shroom damage) and on hit(applies damage and effects when you attack) items for their shrooms and basic attacks. I build a form of evil like no other. One just meant to burst and kill and aggravate a single person. And then to split push with the Zz'rot portal so that I can draw in more sacrifices to my altar, who desperately tries to stop the pushing. Meanwhile my team is capturing Baron, Dragon, other lanes and winning on behalf of my evil lordship.

Suggested build: Varies against lanes Doran's Ring or Corrupting potion. Hextech Revolver or Bilgewater Cutlass. Sorc Treads. Either buy your Haunting Guise if they have heavy pen or complete gunblade otherwise. Build Liandry's. Zz'rot. Lichbane for more dueling power. Rabadon's if the enemies last that long without rage quitting.

So go forth my minions, go forth and do the evil!

On a serious note. I play Teemo when their top lane counters or bans Riven and Shyvana. And I am not yet confident in my Quinn skills to use her as a counterpick. This build works if the rest of your team is competent, otherwise they will need you in fights and objectives. If your team is competent, your goal is to focus on ownership of one corner of their jungle, while you split push top. If you feel overwhelmed by them sending too many after you and clearing shrooms. You can rejoin your team or switch to pushing bot. Otherwise your team can capitalize on your Proxy Singed levels of aggro and get objectives. And unlike Proxy Singed this build isn't about feeding or completely ignoring your team's needs. It's a pressure build. If things go south you can trade one of your items for a Nashor's to give you DPS. But this build is about burst, kiting and pushing.

I've seen a teemo do this before against me, and it works so well..Top lane by the blue buff was just a minefield so nobody could even get to the zzrot portal he put there ;-;

I have been doing this since Zz'Rot came out. I use to main Teemo until I decided I wanted to play champions that actually take skill. Been playing him since I joined in S2. Depends on who you are, but the best thing to do against him is to keep calm. No matter how frustrating it is, you have to not let the 'global taunt' get to you. Instead, you should say to yourself "This is my top lane, my team shouldn't have to worry about it. I will handle it myself." Get the red trinket, buy pink wards and slowly clear the mushrooms. The second you hit one, he will pop out of a bush and try to kill you so the biggest key is to not hit mushrooms. They are seriously about 1/4-1/2 of Teemo's damage depending on his items, runes and masteries. Calmly address the Zz'Rot instead of worrying about finding and killing Teemo. If you actually encounter him while clearing, do not madly chase him in desperation for revenge or a kill. Ping his location to your team and keep up your slow clearing of his shrooms, wards and portals. Until you are sure it is safe. Don't be afraid to back off if the situation seems uneasy or Teemo's allies are near.

Aside from that, capitalize on the lack of a 5th player on the enemy team. Teemo can only push so fast, and WANTS to draw your attention. He is next to useless in team fights however, get your team to kill the other 4 enemies and take big objectives. This will make Teemo's team rage at him for not being present and playing 'useless Teemo'. Thus tilting him 5 people can push faster than 1 Teemo with a Zz'rot. Also, getting a Zz'rot on your own team helps. You can use it to counterpush him, or to push other lanes faster. Teemo is squishy, and cannot risk hard pushing, this proxy pushing style won't be as fast as a bruiser or fighter using a Zz'rot. Especially since Zz'rot scales with max HP.

In the end, Teemo only works well when he can tilt his laner and by proxy destroy the enemy team cohesion. Like Proxy singed does. He otherwise is a terrible champion for ranked and is why I am in bronze, trying to climb out of bronze. Because I use to main him. He doesn't climb well, and once you climb into Silver or Gold you won't see many Teemo players except as rare counterpicks.

lol im not one of those people that rage at him, I main ranged champs and I outrange him and usually win my lane vs. him if I'm ever sent top lane.

Just offering some tips to anybody interested in how to counter Teemo. A lot of people still think he is impossible to counter or annoying. But he works like Proxy singed, he takes advantage of his aggro, nothing more.
