How important is map awareness?

DarkHeadgear··1 votes·266 views

Assume my map awareness is very inconsistent, only checking the map when the enemy jungler crosses my mind like when I'm very overextended or when pings go off. Then I had some guy just watch the map for me, practically making my map awareness flawless. How much would my elo improve from Silver 3 in YOUR opinion?

Map awareness if like checking your mirrors when driving. It should be constantly every so often.
