I thought vayne was the tank shredder, sustained damage adc. All she does nowadays is crit for 1.2k with her tumble and static shiv. Why is this the direction vayne is going? more burst than assasins but can still do damage over time?

It's incredibly stupid but hey, Riot wants shorter games and this is the brilliant path they decided to follow in order to get those shorter games.
Fuck strategy, fuck intuitive gameplay, just nuke everything you see and end fights in 5 seconds because that's good gameplay.
Riot is being stupid. Sorry to put it so bluntly, but there are facts to support this. Vayne is currently sitting at a 53.2% winrate for adcs, which is the highest winrate for all adcs right now.
Too many people feeding vayne and QQing how "op" she is.
