Ignite Change

SlashStriker··1 votes·599 views

Right now Ignite deals 70 to 410 true damage to a target champion based on your champ level Instead Ignite should deal 5 + 5% target missing health / s

summoner 14 vs item 2003 My opponents used Health Potion and stops taking damage. This spell fails to do its job correctly. Ignite is suppose to reduce healing but when someone uses health potion the ignite effect is completely gone and this kinda pisses me off. You counter 3 minute cooldown Summoner Spell with a damn Potion when ignite is suppose to work against healing effects but vs health potion? it doesn't

item 2003 150 healing over 15 seconds 150 x 60% = 90 health restored summoner 14 70 dmg at level 1

This would make ignite a guaranteed execute. Especially on high health champions.

You consider 5% health is high health? are you serious? You were not suppose to lose 95% health carelessly. its your fault for losing so much health so you deserve to be executed

5% of missing health on a summoner that people save for when their targets are super low.

Would actually be a buff for squishy champions to survive.

1800 missing health x 5% = 90 x 5 = 450 + 25 = 475 1500 missing health x 5% = 75 x 5 = 375 + 25 = 400 500 missing health x 5% = 25 x 5 = 125 + 25 = 150

ignite at level 18 = 410 dmg ignite at level 1 = 70 dmg

Cause doing that much damage on a summoner spell that falls off after laning is totally fair.

it is fair since you dont give a single fuck a bout how much damage you take

Why should it be changed?

You ignite early in a fight if you know you can kill your enemy and he has self healing (mainly ignite supports do this) You ignite to execute (which in most cases is completely pointless due to the fact that you forced your enemy out of lane already, which means you will get a lead anyway)

Ignite as an execute is mainly used by those that failed to hit a skillshot or to dubstep ignite an enemy that got away. No need to buff it there.

wtf are you talking about??? You took 95% of your health as damage and you say bullshit like

whatever the fuck that means

you ignite early in a fight to prevent enemies from heal or at the end to finish them off its how the spell been used for years and still is

you made the choice to go in lane with summoner 4 Flash and summoner 12 TP and you pretty much put yourself behind. Its the choice you made Meanwhile i made the choice to take summoner 14 Ignite trying to kill you but at the same time i have huge chance to miss tons of CS and not been able to help other lanes

its decision making

Leaving out the second part because that's exactly what I said

And if you did 95% of an enemies HP and fail to do another 5% you don't deserve the kill. I reversed your "logic"

Ignite is in a good place, just let it be.

Ignite also reduces other aspects of healing. If you are igniting them as they run away in hopes to kill them, you're using it wrong.

150 healing over 15 seconds

means 50 over 5 seconds, which is the duration of summoner 14 . 50 x 60% = 30 Health restored

Also, you usually never Ignite before lvl 3, where it is already at 130 DMG (apart from invades).

yeah but i usually get my opponents with 2% health left at level 1 they lost 98% health and deserve to be executed

there is no "deserve to be executed"

you either die of not die.

Isn't the potion healing still affected by grievous wounds?
