Can we please make it so that he needs his ult to oneshot someone? I usually play toplane which is why I never thought Ekko was insanely op or something. But last game I played Anivia versus him and despite me winning lane hard and beeing up by 1 full item (about 2500 gold), as soon as he had lich bane and ludens he started one shotting me without using his ultimate. I thought he was meant to be balanced by his ultimate beeing hard to hit but as a payoff dealing shitloads of damage. This completely fails in my opinion when he doesn't need to hit his ultimate to oneshot someone and thus can freely use it as a defensive ability to get out after killing someone. He is basically Zed, but safer. Stun all for 2 seconds, go in, oneshot a squishy and get out. Pretty retarded.

Ekko using his ult Offensively is actually hard to do. I wouldn't make him reliant on that for one shoting. And playing an Immobile Zone control mage against an Assassin is pretty bad. (hope you didn't pick her into ekko.) Actually I think Anivia has enough problems that it's a poor base for comparison. If Ekko was to be Ult reliant in getting a kill, he would just be another Zed or Leblanc, which is not what riot's going for as a Utility assassin.

Personally I feel like his base damages should be nerfed. He gets major powerspikes when he has lichbane or luden's, But he does pretty good without them, delaying them for Tankyness or a high CDR build. This might explain why we see 3 different ekko builds in 3 different positions in the LCS. Ekko should pay more in damage if he builds Tanky or CDR.
