Why? The Q buff from a while ago didn't do much, and what's made her stronger is the trinity force changes. I'm an Irelia main, so obviously I'm going to be bias, but I don't think Nerfing her is the fair corse of action here. Sure she's strong, but she falls off late game heavy, Plus without her, many of the annoying ranged match ups would have a much easier time dominating top.

Knowing Riot, they'll nerf Trinity Force and Irelia, leaving both to be inefficient picks for the rest of the season. I don't know what possessed them to change the item so much, but by doing so, they indirectly buff or nerf a lot of champions. They should have just left it alone, as its always been one of the more cost efficient items in the game. Why fix what isn't broken?

TheHurricaneGamr3 votesPeople want her nerfed because she's annoying to lane against, and is one of those "overly one-dimensional champions" (think Pantheon, Diana, Xin Xhao) that are absolutely annoying to deal with when the are ahead or just overtuned in general. In addition, with how many raw stats her kit has (true damage, life on-hit, stun that rewards her for doing poorly), it makes her an absolute nightmare to balance and will be that way until Riot reworks her.
