His portrait will change on the mini map to match his transformation yet when you look on the tab screen he still retains the portrait of base Kayn. If they are going to do it with the mini map than you need to do with the tab screen as well.

True, as you're technically playing 2 different champions, I don't see why the portrait shouldn't change as well.
Meanwhile, from a purely cosmetics point of view, Ultimate skins should come with all the bells and whistles to further defend their pricepoint - which also includes different portraits where applicable.

I thought what you were refering to about Champion portrait as the icon that appears in the kill feed.
PaladinNO1 votesWell, there too, but I primarily referred to the HUD (after checking, I see EL's portrait at least changes) and the TAB scoreboard.
I ofc. see reason in not letting all skins get their own portrait (if I write "protrait" one more time, I'll go for a walk and finish this post later...) on the kill feed for clarity reasons, but I feel the Ultimate skins should get excepted.

GiveMeUrMilk1 votesIn the reddit AMA for kayn they said that they wanted to do it, but simply didn't have the time to get it out before release since it wasn't a priority. Although they also said its something that will likely be added in later.
