Why can Kat have grevious wounds but fizz can't?

Kat jumps everywhere dealing more damage then fizz now could ever dream, she has a strong early, mid and late game and only gets countered if she engages a fight first. Why can She have grevious wounds while fizz can't. Fizz HAS to be on his enemy and commit, while kat can just jump out if she screws up. Sure fizz has his E to escape, but with the new changes to him, that's the only damage he has! Like hell, His Q now does a wopping 10 damage until you max it. His W no longer apply's the debuff so now is he triedto kill anyone with some sort of healing ability, he won't be able to do the damage he needs.

Everybody hate's fizz because of his E, but it's not even a big deal, it costs 130 mana and it's his only damage source really. He's an assassin that doesn't assassinate people. Please help this guy out.

This post was once +5 until all the 10 year old fizz haters came to play.

Kat doesnt even need grevous wounds except so they cant survive her Ult. Other than that, its pointless. Fizz on the otherhand has his w which does DoT damage.

Fizz would benefit from it more than Kat because he wouldnt have his damage on his W completely negated by someone with huge HP Regen.

Different kits, different champions, different weaknesses. Katarina, for instance, can't become untargetable and interrupt targetted ultimates without zhonyas.

But I never agreed with the grievious wounds in the first place, but I'd rather not have more champions with it unless necessary.

It doesn't matter that fizz can go untargetable, because it's litterally for 1 second, that's it! It's also a 130 mana spell on a 10 second cooldown max rank. It's also the only actual damage he has other then his ult which can be hard to land if they aren't in the jungle.

You cannot say something doesn't matter in a champion's kit, everything matters and that's how they determine power budgets.

Besides, you know ults like Caitlyn Syndra ? They can be interrupted by going untargetable. Every 10 seconds on max rank Fizz can get the effect of a zhonyas for a second, then deal a decent amount of damage afterwards. Probably why he has a huge mana cost.

Katarina's grievious wounds is on an ultimate, and seems rather tacked onto burst that would probably kill you anyway (heal doesn't always save the adc, after all). But it has a higher cooldown, and I bet a Kat player would love to trade the grievious wounds (since they can build item 3165 if they really wanted it, mana regen wasted.) for a zhonyas every ten seconds.

fizz assinates the target if u know how to play fizz. he does it well enough i literally just R Pole drop (e) WQ then you died. oops sorry or maybe if fed enough just RE auto. I'd enjoy seeing griveous back on fizz but im glad hes like not picked often. Also katarina is bad early (katarina main) and she doesnt just "dash out if it goes wrong" she usually engages with shunpo, so she has no way out.

if she zhyonas and there isn't an assist with 3 seconds she gets nothing. she also has 2 kill you or get an assist in 3 seconds 2 reset. Also katarina doesn't "need" grievous it just helps a bit. Unlike fizz his W is % of missing HP DOT. If you want griveous so bad buy morellos. AP/Mana regen/20%CDR/Grievous when enemy below 40% sounds like a good item to me.

(Kat is a noxian, Fizz was one of Swain's counters, it all makes sense now.)

OT: Kat actually benefits very little from the GW on her ult, it only ensures people can't heal through it. Fizz actually benefited quite a bit from it.

I've played fizz a ton since he got nerfed and honestly, he isn't fun anymore, his assassionation potential has dropped so far and his early and mid is horrible while late his damage is OK but his safety is really bad since he needs ignite to be up to kill the adc with their heal.

Please be sure to tell that to all the Fizz mains that still hard carry. They need to know that Fizz is weak.

Try telling all the elise, ezreal and lulu mains that their champs are weak too I guess. Just because a champ can do well, doesn't mean they're in a goo spot.

Elise is weak. She definitely needs a buff. Ezreal is only weak in this meta because he doesn't do well against tanks like some other ADCs. When facing other champs, he is great. Lulu just got a buff, so she should be good.
