Presence of Mind with Multi-Use-Ultimates?

Hello, i tryed some stuff again, and i saw some wierd interaction. Presence of mind reduces the Ultimate cooldown by 10% if you can achieve a takedown with it. It totaly works with any champion besides champions who can use their ult more then once after they actiavted it. Champions like Ahri, Xerath, Jhin and Yorik. Im not sure if its the same with champions like Camile, Brand, Fiora, Illaoi, Ivern and champions with similiar abilitys.

Any Ultimate that can be activated multiple times at the cost of only 1 cast, or champions with ultimates where the cooldown starts at the moment their "active" part disapears cannot get the CDR from pressence of mind.

Now my question is, should it be like that?

I mean you can get 4x 10% of ult cooldown with jinx ulth, or far more just with yoriks ult. but why does it work so wierd? And why i am still able to take this rune with those champions?

Bonusquestion: Shouled there be a rune for champions who use Energy as their ressource?

The other day, I was playing velkoz and my laser killed someone and presence of mind didn't give me my CD. I figured cos it was in toggle and the CDs don't kick in until the ult finished casting.

But if you say it works for the toggle counter ult users (ahri / jhin) , then I find it weird how the interaction changes even when they are all toggle ults.

I mean it would be pretty easy to code it i think. Just put some background numbers in and let it calculate itself. Like if you have a 120 sec cooldown and you kill someone with jhin. the first kill would be a 12sec reduction, the next hit will then use the already decresed cdr, wich is then 108 sec, and reduces 10,8 sec form it, the third kill would be on 98.2 sec wich is 9,82 sec reduction and the 4th kill would then be a 8,8 sec reduction wich comes together as a 41,42 sec reduction of the 120 sec. wich is in total a % reduction from around 35% instead of fully 40%. Wich i think could be pretty balanced in the end, or not? I know other champions only get 10% instead of 35% but i still would like it that way. Could make plays more interesting o.o.

Their cooldowns begin when the ultimate is done channeling or when the buff wears off. So you won't start refunding the CD until they start their cooldowns.

yeah, but i used my ult to kill 1 enemy with jhins ult, and i got refunded nothing. Thats what makes me worry o.o

I can personally attest that the CDR from PoM does not work with active Ivern or Pyke ults; even though their abilities are cooling down in the background.

but shouldnt it still give you the CDR after you compleeted the ult? I mean you could literly kill 4 enemys with jhins ult if done corectly, and refund you about 35% cd. But it could also compleetly backfire and you kill 0 xD I hope this isnt how riot has planned it <.<

No, PoM will not refund any CD while the re-cast is going.

Or yorik >.< I mean if he kills aoround 15 people just with the ult he probably has near no cooldown for a 2nd round XD

Hmm. I don't think her CD starts until after she dies. I don't know how PoM will interact with her. Can you test this if you're at home?

I will test it with the mist and daisy now :D But i think daisy will be harder, "The Mist" will work far better cause its a permanent pet without a time limiter. Daisy is only for 60 sec alive <.<

Okay interesting, doing so with yorick totaly destroys the "presence of mind" mastery and even increse the cooldown of the ability. From 60 sec to 70 sec XD WTH xD ( i killed 15 enemys while ultimate was active o.o)

How I think it works is that it "stores" the CDR while the ability is active, and then instantly cashes them in one by one when the ability ends. So if you get 5 take downs then Maiden ends it reduces the CD by 40%

yeah but then its bugged again by 15 take downs wich equals 15 times 10% wich in the end got even reversed and i got added up cooldown o.o
