What happend to the Community?

First off, yes i am bad in english and im very sorry for that, but i will try my best to explain why i ask this question, and yes, pls take this question serious.

So my question in general is what happend to the community mentality wise.

I rarely paly league those days but whenever i do i see the change becomming bigger every month. People start to "degenerate", sry if i offend a few people by using this word, but it seems like they start knowing anything else then "i have to win" and "[enter any insult you know in here]".

I see more and more people acting like they dont even know what to do anymore. I try to smalltalk with a lot of players in normal games, and a few years ago it was realy fun to do, and i even "role played" a bit with my enemys and they took it with humor and played along, or told me their sight of my strange behaivoir and told them "i do that sometimes, cuase its fun". They didnt got that distracted but went on a pretty peacefull game, no brutal 5vs1 ganks, no flaming or spamming, no they even just let me farm like i wanted, i didnt even attacked them or tryed to do so. But lately, like the last 2 years, i get flamed for doing it by team and enemys. if i do something like that they come up with "ohh i see you want to get ganked" and when i die they just say "heh, i hope your Rp now that your crying". Its a bit tasteless for me to do something in a game where you dont even win something in the end. I would understand it if they start to gank me 2vs1 when im overextending like hell, but no, i freeze lane and then suddenly just 5 enemys appear and i cant do anything. i try mostly to get out alive somehow, (works most of the time) but what does that give them?

Why i ask this question is cause i feel sad for those people, forgetting about fun, and smalltalk, and that it is just a game. But just on how they act, it feels like the slowly forgetting aout anything besides this game. Talking less, going faster for kills, try to not only win but showing the enemys how easy they can destroy them.

It would be nice if some people explain i to me, cause this ruins the game pretty much for me, a player who just plays normals and trys to have some fun by talking, or just train CSing even more, or just doing stupid things. [slayer-jinx-catface] Thanks for any anwers, and i hopefully can meet some players who can use their brain more for just this game <.<

in my opinion you're not centering the real point here, what you described is simply players that play the game to win..

1vs5 ganks? totally acceptable ppl not talking just going for fast kills? well, what's wrong with that?

the real problem here is toxicity, player that start shittalk out of the blue, saying you're trash, you're noob, uninstall the game, kys, etc etc or ppl that gives up after dying twice and go afk

Those are the things that make you think about how shitty the community is

in my last match yesterday i had to report 3 players, and 2 of them were on my team

I read through your post and your entire complaint is that you want league to be a chat room where everyone gets along and treats normals like some kind of friendly practice tool.

This isn't the game for you.

League is about capitalizing on enemy mistakes and pressing whatever advantage you have in order to achieve victory. This has been the case throughout its entire existence.

If that isn't to your liking then there are other games out there that might cater to your tastes. But if you continue playing this game the way you've described then you will likely end up reported for multiple instances of trolling your own allies.

The behavior you've described in your post is best suited for a pre-made of you and 4 other players who've all agreed beforehand that how you play is fine. Because then you won't risk ruining the experience for your teammates since you will all be on the same page.
