I am Bronze 3 but consistently being matched against silver players why?

I am getting tired of this shit every-time I start to climb I get matched with people a full division ahead of me who solo carry the game. Last one I was playing shen doing great then out all of sudden this Jayce started raping every lane. I check his rank because i thought no way is he bronze,fucking silver 3 guy named capitly. This happens almost every other game I have played recently. Even when I do win I do not even get a dramatically more lp I do not understand what is the point of a rank division is if you play with people a full fucking one ahead of you obviously im not as good as them, but why should i lose elo and then not gain more then i lose if I win. I now check the rank of everyone I played and most of the time the opposing team has at least 1-2 people a division ahead when my team has none? How the hell does this work arent bronze suppose to play against bronze?

Bronze against Bronze results in noone getting silver. I know system can seems strange, but actually it's either you having good MMR of a silver or this jayce having Bronze mmr. Deal with it, you'll get matched up with Gold+ in silver. It just how it works.

It has to do with a hidden mmr that you can check on OP.gg. But you think yours is bad? I'm unranked just starting placements and I've been with mostly golds, a lot of silvers, and a few plats. I don't remember seeing any bronze players yet. Don't understand why I'm starting towards the middle of rankings instead of the bottom and it's not fun playing against that big of a difference. I don't even have a chance to learn anything because it ends up with having twice or better the amount of kills and turrets we have.

mostly it has to do with MMR and not rank. you can check your mmr on op.gg, BUT it is NOT correct. the real mmr is just hidden and you cant find it anywhere to see. in your case it seems like system thinks that you should be higher than bronze 3, so they match you against better players. if you keep on losing games you will probably be matched with people around bronze then.
