Stop Delaying NA LCS for EU

Divinemethed··6 votes·929 views

I am trying to watch the LCS, but only have so much time. I readjusted my schedule So I can watch it, but then I find out I now have to wait at least an hour and a half because EU is still playing. Why the hell do we have to wait for EU to finish I do not live in the EU the NA LCS players do not live in the EU why are we delayed and why do you say it starts at X time if it does not in fact start at that time?

Rito doesn't care much to have 2 streams at the same moment during regular season making us choose which match we watch...Why shouldn't they do the same with playoffs?

Yeah that annoyed me this split. You will have people who only watch NA and having to choose to watch 1 out of 2/3 but for a WHOLE DIFFERENT region NA needs to wait for a region that has nothing to do with NA but Riot talked non-stop about 2 steams how annoying.

I agree with the OP that waiting on EU is annoying. Pro sports don't delay because some other league is finishing up a game.

I watch both. I like the way it is.

That would kinda suck for the people who watch both, though. And since they're the only major regions that are hosted by the same people (Tencent runs LPL, OGN runs LCK, and Garena I think runs LMS), it makes sense that they would have connections in timing and such.

what I don't understand is why they don't start with more than enough time for the series to go five games without pushing the NA series back. You 'barely' make the time even if it's a clean sweep, depending on game length.

Did you not see the other series this weekend? I swear those had an hour or more layover even if you watched all the EU post-game and NA pre-game stuff.

I agree. Best to put it at a safe time of say 11pm SAT, which is 5pm in the USA

It sucks more for people who want to watch both, but due to schedules can only watch NA live stream. I had planned on watching the NA live stream and following it up with the EU Playoff VODS because Im not able to watch until around the time NA comes on. Unfortunately, when i tuned in to see the NA playoffs, I caught the end of the EU playoffs which really spoiled the whole series for me... now there is no point in watching the VODS since I already know who won. If there had been two seperate streams and if NA had been allowed to start on time, there wouldn't have been any spoilers which undoubtedly would increase VOD viewership.
