How do you feel about her being gutted all the time? Do yall manage to, mostly, keep a 50% win rate? Are you all challenger? How do you feel about her never getting skins? Do you feel like she should be re-worked?
I'm interested in the mind of the average Kalista main... Please, share with me.
its not that kalista is weak. Its 2 different things. She is hard to learn so she doesn't get picked up, and Xayah and Kaisa are oppressive as fuck.
Why play an above average champion that takes an incredible amount of skill to play well if you haven't made the champion muscle memory, when you can face roll on those 2 mega oppressive champion and win games.
I like Kalista but I can't remember the last time I saw one that mained her
Do they even exist anymore? I haven't seen a Kalista in probably a few hundred games unless I was playing her. Used to play Kalista all the time, even after the majority of her nerfs, but she usually just isn't worth it to play-- still a really cool champion though.
I only have about 2 seasons with her under my belt, but I like to think I am at least average. Skins, that's fine either way, i like championship but have all 4; I fluctuate from 48% to 55%. I feel like Riot has a tough decision to make, allow this champ to stay as a very dangerous opponent when used to her fullest, or make mechanics friendlier to the average facepalm ulty boys.
Me pesronally, Kalista identity honestly could be a totally different thing all together. The only thing lorewise we know is she is out for revenge, and uses spears. nothing about hopping around like a rabbit, but the pact SHOULD be an important factor to account for. i would be perfectly fine if they removed her jumps, for something that had more counterplay, but not just standing still all the time, being so short ranged focused 300k+ Kalista Mastery btw
I've been maining Kalista for a little while now. Once I got her basic mechanics down she quickly became my favorite champion and ADC. Setting up "Move/Attack on cursor" as shift+right click as a sort of panic button for kiting in hectic situations helped a lot.
I'm only a gold player, so not all of what I say should be considered in regard to high elo play.
Pre-ranked play I had an 80% winrate with her. I don't feel like she is gutted. You just really need some hard peel and a solid tank support to duo with.
If your team has no peel you're going to have a bad time. 
I find bringing tenacity runes in the yellow tree to be crucial, getting slowed feels unexplainably bad on her.
Also, I've created a Club in NA for kalista mains called "impale the cowards". If anyone would like to join just add me. "Spectre Spears".
the last kalista i came across refused to bind with me because i was yuumi and it would be "useless." the very next game, enemy team has kalista/yuumi, they bind up as is customary, and they stomp the game. would rather not see the champion at all if this is what happens in soloq.
