If we're all plat and you duoed to get to plat while your soloQ elo is lower than silver, please just play support, please.

We don't need a silver mid laner who doesn't know how to ult as Yasuo when the enemies are knocked up. Just be a good support and go 0/10 without depriving the team of a useful late game carry.

Here are the things you'll need to do.

Pick a support with a ranged heal or ranged harass and take random assists. Don't take the kills from the carries. Do whatever. We'd prefer it if you warded, but it's not required.

Would you rather have a b5 support or a b5 mid laner?

A diamond mid laner can carry a b5 support.

A diamond supp can't carry a b5 mid laner.

I played a game with a diamond support and a bronze adc and they lost. It's more like the support doesn't have enough income to impact a game if the other 4 players won't group with the support or help him out.

A b5 support can: -stun -ward -cc -tank damage -bait -initiate in a diamond game

A b5 mid laner can: -feed in a diamond game

I have never seen a bronze V support do any of those things, except maybe by accident. They definitely do not ward, bait or peel (often i do not see them even have any wards, including sightstone or trinket)

They prefer to use trinket over sightstone, but at least they have CC that doesn't scale with gold so they can still do something even if they're not fed.

They can also be bait if they're 0/10 and the enemy is chasing them and ignoring important objectives.

They can tank damage.

They can initiate using their CC.
