Fixing The SoloQueue experience

I was really disappointed and borderline finally leaving LoL when I discovered that climbing has no real value. I was a player hardstuck in B5 season 5 and now I'm Gold 3 getting matched with and against plat 5-3 with my golds every ranked game. So I can attest to the experience from B5 - P3. Nothing changes. Your team is still toxic, still afk, still troll, still inting. When a level 7 P4 nasus mains goes 0-8-1 against a 3rd time p5 riven.... It's something that alot of people from low elo are in denial about. We climb with a "grass is greener on the other side" mentality and when we finally start playing against high elo, we realize that it's not. Why? because the issue isn't elo. It's SoloQueue.

One proposal I have is for riot to internally experiment with reducing the time spent in "laning phase". By the time laning phase is over, most soloqueue games are decided. Yeah throws happen but they are over exaggerated, you can usually tell in laning phase if they will throw a lead as well but if your not looking for the signs it can seem like they threw out of no where.

Back to laning phase. Too much is decided in laning phase. By the time you group in soloQueue their is usually that one 3/4+-0 guy on one team that is one shotting everyone, the tilted toxic guy that fed him and the guy that sees the 4-0 is basically afk going through the motions waiting to ff @ 20. The guy that fed him is too tilted and behind to compete, his teammates are giving up and becoming tilted and insult top injury now that 4-0 champ is one shotting your 4 teammates all because YOU weren't good enough...Now you might argue this is a "team" game. YES! That is my point. Why is this a "team" game but the game is decided largely by a 1 on 1 or 2 on 2 lane???? A player should not be able to leave lane so fed that he has to be a literal ape not to win just because he is better than a SINGLE player on the other team. Games need to be decided AFTER laning phase where teamwork, coordination and efficiency are key not in a 1v1 dick measuring contest.

Idk maybe it's just a naive hope that riot focus on fixing the issues with Solo Queue but it really kills the incentive to climb elo when I feel like I'm still in bronze. It's all the same Bronze-Plat and from my YT/Stream experience also in diamond so unless you plan on getting master/challenger from low elo, walk away.

I was d2 and I really felt the difference in games in terms of quality. Then I dropped to d5 and now I'm contemplating why do I play this game. Every game someone 0/10 and losing us the game. Much fun.

Exactly. Unless your basically in top 4 divisions of LoL D2-Challenger from what I have played and heard, the games are all the same. The "skill" is better but when put against people whose skill is also better they perform like they are bronze. I really do think making laning phase not so prevalent is a big factor.

A lot of people that feed don't continue to feed at that rate after laning phase and often end up coming back in terms of contributions to deaths. Instead of ending 0-4 they end 4-6-3 or something similar. However if we cut laning phase short so that they only left lane 0-2 they wouldn't already be shut out of the game or tilted to the point of afk or throw.
