Fixing the balance will be hard.
Meta's exist i get that. But balance there is none.
To many variables have been created with the growing pool of champions and the effects are very disturbing to the vibe. Runes do not have the in depth required stats to meet every situation.
The only way to balance anything now at this point is disabling champions per meta.
However fans will not enjoy their main being locked away.
the problem rising is actually been on going for a very long time.
many champions get stuck in limbo only seeing a change after an entire year.
Some champions just are not meant to fight anymore due to them actually being over powered in one department or another. Others are just so on the other side of the spectrum due to the crazy damage VS defense ratios that have been ignored for ages.
Leagues pace has skyrocketed compared to her peaceful start. i personally think riot should be looking at more realistic pools of players in their respective tiers and roles and ask them self how do we recreate proper synergy between as many champions we can.
This should not determine who is the greatest champ in LoL but the greatest synergy. Realistically i never thought a moba would be played professionally. as equal footing is a matter of skill but also the weapon you wield?
So if i'm running around with a SMG and a bag of grenades and everyone else has a pistol from the start of the game.. then their screwed anyway. This is how adverse balance can be off in both SR and ARAM.
