Is there a drawback to duo queuing?
Title, I know years ago it would raise the collective mmr of your opponents, but, if me and my duo partner are of the same rank, does it still do that?

never duo, unless you and your buddy are capable of hard carrying 3 feeders.
JhomasTefferson1 votesI asked because i notice that my teams are always shit when i duo with my boyfriend. I can usually carry or at least win when i play solo, but with him i almost always lose. I know it's not him, as he usually does well as support, he just can't do much with a shit adc(I play jg). So i had to wonder if that left with the newer queues.
Thrëat1 votesYour best bet is to do a few games duo with someone and keep track of your win rate with them. If your win rate with a duo partner is lower than what you get solo then it is not worth duoing with them. This should matter more than anything else.
