Death timers in Ascension on PBE is a nearly perfect example on how they should be in SR

I've played myself Ascension on PBE a few times and here's how death timers are:

First 5 minutes they only get to 5 seconds.

From 5 to 10 minutes, death timers are less than 10 seconds.

From 10 to 20 minutes, death timers can go up to 17 seconds.

Max I went was 30 minutes and death timers didn't even get to 30 seconds. Actually, they went to 25 seconds ONLY.

So Riot I hope you thinking of changing death timers in the Taric Champion Update patch. Thanks!

what an extremely terrible idea based on extreme lack of experience playing this game LMAO

Low death timers just make people pick some lategamechampions again and stall games. max 30 seconds is just not high enough, playing retarded and getting catched SHOULD be punishable. Its true that 60 seconds death timers seem to happen too early in the game but I kinda feel like that should stay the max duration, pushing without vision and getting picked should be punishable or splitpushing and failing and getting catched.

Honestly, I feel death timers need to be LONGER early, but shorter late. (as in, longer than they are now in the early game, but lategame timers shouldn't be that absurd until 50+ minutes)

Biggest issue I've always had pre-season 6 (and even during season 6) is that any early kill makes it hard to do well, anything in terms of taking an advantage since your enemy laner will be coming back within the next 20-ish seconds.

Your list of options include getting a minor amount of tower damage, or trying to gain a CS lead on your opponent (and hoping that they don't close the gap between you when you leave lane to buy while they stay). You could roam too but you're unlikely to be able to do much early on anyway (depending on what you classify as Early, most champs don't have a large impact in terms of roams until they have at least level 3 or 4)

I feel the same personally, you cant run ignite toplane and get firstblood and go back without the enemy instantly tping back to lane and lose no xp and farm and outlevel you even you took the risky ignite spell. You are right.

No, not at all. The point of long death timers is to be able to win the game at some point. If the timers are changed then the game would take hours to win.
