I hope MMR get a rework for S5
I climbed from low D3 to D1 40 lp while only winning 12 lp per game and losing 30 per lost WHY do i still have a shit MMR? if this shit happen next season im quitting

Miku Lv991 votesI felt the same way that I lost way more LP for losing than for winning. But really, LP doesn't matter. Only MMR does, and your LP and tier will tend towards where your MMR is as you play more games anyways. So just think of it as you really did make that much progress upwards in your MMR during that journey and the LP is really just an artificial, fake layer added that's misleading you in terms of where you really stand.
Plus this makes me feel more accomplished that I have a greater amount of more wins than losses. My MMR has sucked so bad so much of this season I'm at 125 more wins than losses and still only in gold 2. To me, more wins than losses is also a thing, not just what tier you're in.
