What is the point of reconnecting? It hardly ever works

Internet cuts out? You DC. Cool. You get your internet back up, and can connect to everything except the LoL game you have up that is still trying to reconnect. Congrats, you get to Exit game, and enjoy your lockout timer, for no reason.

If I ever have this issue, doing the Release/Renew IP step of the Connection Troubleshooting Guide here usually fixes it. The step only takes a few seconds to run, I recommend trying it out if you encounter this issue again. If you need more assistance with this I recommend posting in General Discussion since it's not related to gameplay.

I've timed it a couple of times

I connect to 2.4GHz internet, then run the microwave for 30 seconds. Takes me almost a full minute after the microwave stops to automatically reconnect. When I just alt-f4 and reconnect by the client, it takes about 20 seconds lmao
