because it means when I'm forced to lane against a Yasuo I can afk without screwing my teammates over. I'll gladly take a loss over being forced to lane against that champion.
Edit for clarity: I don't mean, I'll afk partway through the game. I have no interest in screwing my teammates over. I mean I'll quit during load screen so my team can remake.
You want my name1 votesi dont see why people have such a big problem with yasuo. yeah late game he is annoying to deal with but laning phase is his worst thing. any range character easily beats him and even most melee characters shouldnt have much of a problem with him since most of them have a projectile attack

His ability to dash through minions means that his area of influence is your entire lane, which is normally reserved for ranged characters.
But with ranged characters, the tradeoff is that if you manage to close the distance to them, you win the trade. With yasuo, he's melee so he wants to close the distance to you.

Idk about everyone else, but a large majority of my AFKS aren't at the very start of the game, it's a few minutes in and someone afks and then you're screwed and this new system doesn't fix that.

All of mine have been about mid game. I agree with you. This new system does nothing to address that at all. No one AFKs at the start. They wait until either someone tilts them all to heck, or they don't see a win and no one wants to surrender, and that's usually after the 20 minute mark.

Then I'll force quit league during the load screen.
I have no interest in screwing my teammates over. That's the only thing that keeps me in lane vs a yasuo.
