Why does Jhin crit towers?

I thought nothing was allowed to crit towers

He would be useless against them if he didn't. His dps on the towers with the crit is the same if not lower than other ADCs.

Then he would have some weaknesses.

And thats a terrible thing, new champs cannot have those (see camille).

He has a weakness allready. He is immobile.

His 4th shot and E give him MS which scales. He has hard CC and 2 sources for slows. As immobile as you think he is, he isn't.

That is a steroid.

He still dishes a lot of dps on the tower without it.

Automatic "once every X hits" effects are steroids too, just not the same kind. Caitlyn can't headshot towers, and Vayne can't Silver Bolts them. (Now I'm laughing at her getting 12% true damage against towers every 3rd hit... she would go back to building full attack speed and then take towers faster than Ziggs...)

Jhins is not a steroid when it comes to towers in the same sence. It's there to compensate for the DPS he lacks with no AS.

His weakness is having 4 shots with a reload time and an ADC that can't load up on AS. I see people complain about Jhin's damage whenever he's played in a game, I know he's not seen AS much but surely it's not hard to remember to avoid him while he only has a red bullet icon showing ;P

You're telling me that his DPS at max level with 600AD and 4th shot (insert crit vs towers calculation here) equates to the tower taking capabilities of Kog'Maw, Tristana, and Caitlyn?

He can crit tower for a reduced amount as he have to reload and can't benefit from attack speed. That's the reason.

It's like how Fiora's second E will also crit towers. My guess is that if there's an ability that guarantees a crit (like Jhin's 4th auto or Fiora's 2nd E), it will apply to towers.
