So I just faced an Ekko Top in lane
And even though I crushed him and the game was won in like 25 minutes, I have to say that playing against him was absolutely infuriating. The guy simply does too much. He's good at all-ins, poking, short bursty trades, he has VERY HIGH amounts of utility, sustain, two sources of soft CC and one extremely long hard CC, movement speed steroids, shields, a massive heal from his ult, high aoe damage, high single target damage, blinks, one of the best area-targeted dashes in the game that he can use to both escape, chase, and fake-escape-re-engage...he simply has so much shit. The worst thing is that he's an ASSASSIN. Honestly this champion just needs a rework, giving an Assassin THAT MUCH utility is just bloody poor champion design, he legitimately has more utility and CC than most bruisers and tanks in the game, while having the potential to do tons of damage, how is that okay? Ekko will never be balanced because of it because his baseline kit will always be too strong. If he's viable then he's a jack of all trades that will dumpster the masters of one by being good at everything, if he's un-viable he'll be a jack of all trades that gets dumpstered by master of ones because he's not good at anything.
Just rework the guy, seriously, he's just problematic. Doesn't matter if there's ways to play around him if his kit is inherently overloaded - that's just not ok.
