AFKs in ranked should honestly have mandatory bans. Riot shouldn't also matchmake off of winrates.

Bitching about AFK's below

I've played 9 games today on my smurf.

Three. Fucking THREE of them I had had AFKs on my team. All happened when I was in a series. So because 2 of them were also consecutive, it destroys my mmr, so not only do I lose the series, I'm knocked down over 30 fucking lp AND I gain less so I have to play an EXTRA game to get BACK into the fucking series. One of my botlanes had combined deaths of 38. 38 fucking deaths. That's literally inting.

But no, they won't get punished. The AFKs won't get punished, even if they say, "Fuck you" and leave until they ruin dozens of other games with it.

Stop pussyfooting around with game griefers. If you afk from a ranked game, you're banned for 24 hrs. You do it again within 2 days? You get a 1 week ban from ranked. After that, it's a 2 week account ban and then a perma.

People will not respond to anything less. I never leave a game (let alone a ranked game) unless it's an absolute emergency or a technical issue. And I've never played ranked when I thought there was the slightest chance of either. Ranked is a serious competitive environment, and it should be treated as such. Childlike temper tantrums and ragequits should be punished harshly.

End of bitching about AFK's

Okay, glad I got that out of my system. However, I've noticed a very disturbing pattern in my recent games:

I have never seen as many AFKs as I have since I've been climbing on my smurf with a huge winrate. I'm getting matched with players that are significantly lower rank than my current rank, despite my really high mmr, and being matched with much higher rated players - on top of this, **the low ranked teammates often have a winrate of around 44%. **Sometimes it can get as low as 20-30%.

Balance off of MMR, not winrates. I shouldn't see large frequencies where my teammates are inting nearly as often as they are. A couple days ago I had 3 4v5's in a fucking row. I've had an average of 2 afk's a day for the past week. This is utterly ridiculous. Stop fucking hamstringing me and let me get my smurf to the rank I want it to, god damn it.
