Jinx or vayne?

Jinx is rated higher on a lot of lists but I feel vayne should be better. Mobility helps in any situation and in any teamfight people WILL dive you. Vayne just tumbles away while still shredding with true damage so wouldn't she be a better spot. (And no, no matter what you can't defend an enemy team from reaching the adc if they are all diving)

Jinx's passive. She is overall a better champ.

The problem with Vayne is her short range. Jinx can crit 2k rockets from the backline and be relatively safe; she is also much more objective focused with her passive

Depends on what you want. Vayne has more mobility and her damage scales much harder than Jinx. But Jinx can outrange Vayne with her q rockets at max range and have aoe, but at the cost of DPS. Id say Jinx is also better at taking objectives. But she is also much more vulnerable if your opponent knows what they are doing. All it takes is a good dive comp to handle Jinx. Vayne is a different story because she has self peel and much more on demand mobility. I'd also argue that Vayne has more singletarget DPS and better dueling than Jinx.

Overall, Vayne is more mechanically difficult, but IMO I think she is more rewarding if you can play her at a very high level in soloqueue. In the right circumstances, such as if the other team has little to no diving power, and your team knows how to peel, Jinx can be better. Or if your team has good teamfight synergy, like malphite or Orianna.

Vayne is more of a tank buster, has stealth, a good stun (if sent into a wall), an AD boost, and a dash on a very short CD (however it doesn't go on CD until you attack with the buff or it runs out), and less of a conditional speed boost in her passive, decent at getting away if ganked with her tumble and space creation with condem. And %max HP based damage making her better in tank meta.

Jinx has natural wave clear, AoE crits, ramping AS, a global skillshot ult (might be a pro or con), can root people conditionally, her skills scale amazingly with AD (10% toggled Q, 140% with W, and 10% bonus with her ult. (Ult also has 25/30/35% missing scaling making it more of an execute, unless you get a passive proc you're screwed if you're jumped due to the chompers arm time.
