Was it too OP for Chogath to actually deal damage?

I've tried playing him a few times and it's a fucking joke. He's literally a caster minion until he hits lvl 6 and then the only thing he does is feast somebody. Oh hey, I'm chogath, look at that, level 2 nocturne is invading my jungle, I better knock him up and run away, OH HEY WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT I LITERALLY LOST HALF MY HEALTH BEFORE MY RUPTURE FINISHED ITS CAST TIME, that's balanced, guess I better flash away, nope, nocturne still kills me 2 seconds later.

Spent the rest of the game doing zero damage (outside of ult) to champions who could hit me for 1.5k+ dps despite my tanky build.

This meta is absolute shit Riot and the fact you let the game get this far is proof that your entire balance team deserves to be fired. There was a point you needed to stop and realize this game was going to shit, and that point was years ago, and yet you still don't have a clue what's wrong.

Don't mind me, just taking another 3 month long break because I got bored of playing "viable" champions, you know, the only champions in league that are allowed to have any fun.
