[Discussion] What are your hopes for future newly Champions?

###My hopes

I've kinda thought about it and, I really want a simple champion.

Literally just a no one special, someone who isn't really an important individual in the Runeterra world, just a simple human being. Not a killer, not a thief, no special powers, just some civilian who uses his/her's pure survival instincts.

###What are yours?

I want a Support Fighter. A Support Fighter who can be impactful utility as other supports early game while having nicely scaled late game with abasic support item or two. I mean, we already got Pyke as a Support Assasin.

Just simple champion without mobility

Helmet Bro might just be the champion for you. The fact that hes always dying and still comes back makes his survival instincts the strongest.

An actual Alchemist. Singed doesn't really count. However I did find it funny that his ulti duration was influenced by the Time-Warp Tonic Rune.

Anyways I'd like to see one that can actually drop potions that boost stats, much like how Zoe's W can make minions and champions drop summoner spell and item actives. Instead can drop potions by him or herself. She has a healing cask similar to that of Ana from OW and can be splash much like Twitch's. Can affect towers as well.

Her ultimate could be like Rikku's Mix from FFX, when ulting, presseing keys QWE in certain orders will grant a boost to an Ally or create an AoE move against enemies.

The concept might be a little over the top. And there are ways to simplify it I'm sure. But that's something I'd really want. I'd like more hextech-y champions but not necessarily body augments or steampunkish weapons. Really an enchanter with a science-y background.

Speaking of Alchemists, I actually had a concept written out a while back for a Alchemist champion that I was really happy with.

TLDR:

  • He doesn't have any abilities, he doesn't purchase items, he instead crafts potions (similar to Ornn Passive, and crafting options can be accessed through the shop) that scale and can be improved over the game duration (similar to Viktor's Hex Core).
  • At the start of the game he would have to craft 4 potions, which would take place in his ability slots.
  • There would be a lot of Potion options to choose from.
  • Passive would be along the lines of upon using X amount of Potions on Y will have Z effect.
  • His inventory could only store Potion ingredients that he collects/crafts or finds (can't decide) and as well as boots, and any vision trinkets.
  • Since there were so many Potion options, he could go for any playstyle he wishes (offence, defence, utility, etc...).
