@RIOT CACTOPUS, Was it intentional or was it discussed among your colleagues?
In the old LP system, as you make a new account and level yourself up to 5, you get two boxes. 1 with Ashe and Garen including skins of them, and the other box was a ward skin with a random skin of a champion you own.
In this system, people got to save up LP and buy a champion they wanted without opening any boxes yet. After they opened the boxes, a skin of the champion they bought was rewarded because that was the ONLY champion they would currently own.
Now in this new system, Ashe, Garen and Brand is given for free as you level. Now this time, you get a capsule and a box that includes a free skin except now you only get a skin off of Ashe because she is the first champion you owned by force.
With that being said, in this new system you can no longer get a free skin of any champion of your choice (except the ones with only 1 skin or new releases.) like before. Was this intentional for players to not take advantage of the box reward?
I bring this up because I am really interested in knowing. I founded to be really cool how new players or alt accounts could get 1 free skin based on the first champion they own. Now that you can no longer do that, It feels rather disappointing to be forced into getting a Ashe skin. I feel like the loot reward from before were much better because you had the option of deciding what you want.
Suggestion: Maybe you should do a loot box where at level 30 based on the first champion you buy or mostly played, you get 1 random skin of that champion. (I really doubt anyone would agree with this but its a worth a try.)
