I just don't get it, it's terrible. One team has all mastery 6-7 players on it the other has people with 0 points on that character. How are the odds so bad that all are on one or the other? It's really irritating. Naturally the team with 0 exp in those characters loses. Go figure.
Yeah or one team 55% winrate or more the other team all negative winrate.
Or one team has one (or even TWO!) 75%+ wr Smurfs.

Actually, the new ranking system is amazing because you get a rank for each Role, You get higher LP gain, You gain LP for every role but also lose LP in each role when you lose the game.
t's High Risk, but a rewarding reward since you're risking LP for each role after you play, your first game for each role. I Was able to Come from Bronze IV to Silver IV over one night. When you're in your placements and you reach 100LP you skip the series and go to the next Tier, But If you're lucky you'll skip a tier as I Did.
All you need to do buddy is Just believe in your teammates to win the game, and stay positive.[sg-syndra]
