DFG or Ludens, which one is more toxic?
I seriously can't tell, i mean, i see pretty much EVERY single AP champ picking up ludens these days.

DFG was making just about every AP burster into a 1 rotation blow up assassin. It was "unhealthy" as you couldn't really build against it.
Ludens (imo) offers a lot more damage over time but not so much "Kaboom" in 1 rotation. It's sort of like a lazy mage's lich bane. I think its numbers could be scaled better so that AoE AP Burst doesn't crush 3+ people out of a fight.

the problem with dfg was it made burst patterns more burst and champions needed to be ballanced around the item the problem with ludens is that it makes bursty and poke patterns more bursty and champions need to be ballanced around the item
Dfg is like
q and then you can do your ult then you get so much burst :)
The difference between DFG and Luden's: DFG was either a cheese that made some strats viable or increased burst. Luden's increases burst of EVERY SINGLE CHAMPION.
I mean building DFG on e.g. Zed would be plain stupid, but Ludens? Yeah, you can do it.
