How to deal with Caitlyn
Since so many people dislike Caitlyn, heres how you deal with her.
Stuns or Snares Although stuns are way more effective since she cant auto you, a snare works as well as she cant instantly net you. Seriously, one stun and you get on her. Shes squishy af, logic.
Waste her net and most of her traps Her net has a long cd, so waste it and she doesnt have any escape if you dodge her remaining traps. Shes immobile, her kit is just based around her being more safe.
Ask for help Shes a lane bully, this should be pretty obvious to ask for help so you can kill her, or push her out of lane.
DONT FEED HER She cant nuke your health if you dont feed her. Seriously, the only reason shes be able to nuke your health is if you fed her, or its way later in the game. She needs around 4 major items to hit her power spike. You cant just treat her like every other ADC and expect to win. ADJUST YOUR PLAYSTLE TO COUNTER HER. Shes like the Pantheon of bot lane, stay passive during the early game, get some ganks, etc. Come mid game, you should be able to kill her a lot easier as she hasnt reached her power spike yet (assuming you didnt feed tf out of her). Seriously, this goes for any adc.
Shes not even the most threatening ADC Her late game isnt even as good as most other ADCs (again, unless youve fed her, doesnt apply for everyone having full builds tho.) Compared to other ADCs with full builds, she cant do as much as her power spike happened earlier, and now the other ADC(s) have caught up to her, and have exceeded her. I mean her late game is good, but its not as good as other ADCs. Treat her like any other ADC in a teamfight, target her, lock her down, etc. Even if she can escape from you, shes not able to deal damage to everyone else. Another thing about her, is that ALL OF HER ABILITIES FALL OFF LATE GAME. Her R is an execute, Casting her q is a waste of time and mana as her AA's do more, W's can easily be seen, her E is just an escape. Her kit is based around poking and staying safe while doing it. Her kit doesnt support all ins and she only has escapes and damages.
You cant keep doing the same thing and expect results You have to adjust yourself to playing against a Caitlyn. Shes not like every other ADC. You cant just keep poking her and expect to out poke her in the end. Youre going to have to poke her whenever its 100% safe, like poking when shes going for cs, or something similar. But youre going to need to all in her at some point, which she only has a net and traps (which have a set up time, so theres no excuse you should run into them if youre paying attention) and she can only use her net once, then it goes on cd for a long time.
If you dont believe me, play her and itll be pretty obvious that all these factors are true.
