Ekko - is he op or not?

Ok, so a lot of ppl have been complaining about ekko. I am a scrub, but i'm here to put in my 2 cents

Passive: IMO this is the main problem with his kit, as it has a fuckn .7 ap ratio, and gives him high sticking power. Think about it this way, if u land both q and it procs ur passive, that's 1.3 AP RATIO on 1 ability. plus, the slows stack, which means that basically if u can kill them from there, they're dead Q: This is in a good spot - lots of damage and a slow if u land both parts, but it's NOT THAT EASY W: The active really isn't that great (hard to land, even in teamfights)... but the passive is super good. because you use ur abilities first, they should be down to about 30% (lategame - hes not as bursty as most assassins and cant 100-0 without ult which is hard to land), but then, u two shot them with ur autos. The ratio is ok, but the base health% should not scale as well (nerf a tiny bit) E: Nothing wrong here, but i would say stop the roll from going through walls Ult: I think it's in a good spot - very situational, but when u land it it feels sooo good. I think that thematically more power should be moved to the heal and away from the dmg, but that's it So, all in all, i think his passive and w passive are overtuned, with the rest of his kit ok let me know what u think :)

well daina crush him. she is much burstier. better passive. so much more tanky ans she have better ratios. so complain about diana instead

I think all he really needs is the ap ratio on his passive to be lowered. His w passive is only really important early game (which is absolute poop for Ekko anyway) so if you nerfed that he would just be dominated in lane.

Ekko is kind of like Thresh or Lee.

His kit is just so ridiculously versatile that it's hard to balance him with just numbers. Personally I think tweaking his passive would make him fine. (But watching adcs melt from q+auto after Luden's and Lich Bame is hilarious.)

Right now though, he is pretty darn op.

Edit: I see a lot of people comparing him to Diana. She is burstier and tankier. This is true. But Ekko has So. Much. Utility. If she's behind, the best she can hope to do is burst down the ADC of they don't have a Bloodthirster or are Sivir in a teamfight. If Ekko is behind, he still has a 2.5 second stun, two veeeery heavy slows, and high base damage on his ult. Not to mention the pretty heavy aoe poke with his q. He's still useful if he's behind while still being a MAJOR damage threat if he's fed.

That's why he's overpowered.

I think Ekko is pretty balanced. This ult everyone can see. Ekko is squishy asf.

The only reason people think he is op is cause they have not played against him yet so he is quite hard to understand cause you do not know how to dodge his abilities.

People just need to learn to stop sitting on each others laps late game. It the same reason everyone was freaking out about Sejuani's ult.

If yer worried about Ekko's ult... Stop riding each other!

I think his passive is a little overbearing or at least the slow on it but other than that I don't think he is overpowered at all.
