Kayle seriously needs a buff. And I mean... a buff.

And I'm not saying that we need to make her disgustingly broken late game ramp up faster. No no. I'm simply saying that her early game needs to be not absolutely godawful.

I get it. Riot didn't want her to be absolutely disgusting at mid game and just pile on the damage and just tear everyone apart and be impossible to win against. BUT the problem is, that her early game is painfully bad. Like, really, it's horrible. She has no CC, she has no damage, she's really really hard to gank for. She doesn't even have that much damage ether. So even with a jungler who brings a lot of CC or slows, like Maokai or Nunu or Amumu, she doesn't give much damage because of her being melee.

I get that the idea of the remake was to embrace that she was a hybrid melee/ranged fighter who could apply damage with auto attacks and with ranged, but the way she is now, just isn't fun.

I love Kayle's kit. I love the way it feels. But I hate that she just gets bullied out by literally any other top laner. Nasus bullies her out. Maokai bullies her out. Heck, I'm pretty certain a Sona Top would bully her out.

While I understand that the idea was to make her early game so ridiculously bad that it balances out her godlike late game, it's just not at all fun or fair to literally have the team play a 4v5 for 20 minutes and pray that they don't get steamrolled, while the Kayle is desperately trying to avoid going anymore than 5 deaths before 15 minutes.

It's just not fun. It's not for the team to have to have a pretty much useless champion until AT LEAST level 11 and it's not fun for the Kayle player, because literally no matter what lane they're in, they're going to be terrible and pretty much useless. Top lane? They provide no CC or damage for the jungler to gank and chances are they aren't going to apply enough damage for the jungler to just simply walk up and get a free kill, they're going to be too low to help with the gank.

Reduce her mana costs so she can sustain, increase the damage or shred of her Q, make it so she can apply her passive faster, something, anything, absolutely anything that can at the very least just make her early game simply just bad and not absolutely god awfully bad.

If any late game champion is going to receive early-game or mid-game buffs, they need power shifted from their late game power to those places, not given free buffs.

Blatantly adding power (even if it's something as small as mana cost reductions or CD reductions) isn't a good idea since it makes them go from a late game champion to a good-at-all-points champion.

But that's the thing I'm saying. I'm not looking for her to be GOOD at early game. Nasus has a bad early game, but he can still be ganked because he has a really strong slow and actually still can add some damage with Spirit Fire and his Q. Kayle isn't even good to gank because she neither provides CC or Damage.

In order to buff Kayle's early game, they will be REQUIRED to take power out of her late game, so let us make that distinction clear. Just asking for blanket buffs without giving up any power will make her absurd and should not be done.

Her early game needs a buff, her mid to late game needs MASSIVE nerfs

Naw. She still super easy to one shot even post level 16. It's for that reason I build her as a burst mage rather than an auto attacker, so I can actually get my kit off before I die.

I think Kayle needs to become ranged at level 6 but reduce the damage she deals with her waves a bit and make her late a little weaker. that way it's stabilized and not such a sudden spike when she happens to hit 16. so she can be an actual champion at level 6 but not be TOO strong.

i like that she's the ultimate glass cannon. i dont think we should adjust her.

I can get past her early game just fine. What I cannot fathom is how easily one shot she is even after level 16. She needs her old ult back where she can still attack.

I think that a couple of small buffs to her E would be fair, and they wouldn’t even be that big.

1.) Her E needs to have a minimum damage/base damage value. Giving her an actual harass tool would be nice and wouldn’t skew her early game too much and having one of your abilities be useless until your opponent is at less than half-health at early/mid game sucks.

2.) Give either Q or E a small range increase or projectile speed increase. See above. Her Q has pretty low base damage IMO, so if it’s gonna be weak and have a delay, it should have a better range/be easier to hit more consistently.

3.) Buff the passive damage boost in her E (base values, not ratios). This will make her trades early game hurt a bit more.

Her winrate is above 50% on pretty much every server every server and tier with an above average pick+ban rate despite being a new champion. She does not need buffs, she just needs time and probably nerfs sometime down the road once people key in on exactly how to play her and what matchups to pick her in.
