@Meddler: Lots of Bots in Treeline...PLZ HELP

I'm having to dodge my games because of it. And I am unsure if the "ban wave" will take care of them, or if seperate action is needed.

a) Cuz when you see a Xerath and Leona instalok....with both of them Cleanse and Smite, and neither of them is communicating something is up.

b) and when (in the same game or another) they are worse off than an ACTUAL BOT in treeline just sitting there autoing in lane, doing nothing else, and enemy team (if there are real people in the comp) just go in and kill them off for free gold...it makes me sad.

c) Idk WHY they (the bots...people generating the bots) even do it...? It makes no sense aside from ruining someone else's game...

This isn't something within Meddler's field of expertise, or something that belongs in G&B for that matter.

Riot has confirmed, however, that they do plan on addressing the issue of botting soon (likely through a permabanwave), but the anticheating banwave (which deals more closely to scripting and 3rd party tools to win matches) is currently a higher priority.

Yeah...it just makes going to twisted treelike right now pretty pointless. I love the game mode. But to see most of your team bots or most of you enemy team bots just makes you go..."Oh...bots...." </3

And I wasn't sure where to put this. Thats why. Im fearful of the possible toxicity in the General Discussion/not reaching the targeted audience when I'm going "RITO PLZ" :)

Yeah, I understand your frustration.

For future reference, Meddler works with Gameplay & Balance issues mostly (ex Champion A is too strong or weak, and stat/kit/interaction changes are needed), as is what G&B is for (you can always check the guidelines on the left hand side for the board to see if it fits). GD is more casual discussion, so it probably wouldn't fit there either. For something like this, I would probably look to place it in Miscellaneous. Pretty much anything that doesn't fit on a specified board goes there, and most Rioters will at least poke in for content relevant to their team. This is also where Rioter Choive (I think is how it's spelled) posted his announcement on the Anti-Cheater banwave.
