Kennen was a strong meta pick and contested at worlds. In the pre-season riot nerfed his core item protobelt and hextech revolver passive. Since then, kennens winrate and playrate have both dropped to a reasonable level, just in time for his ult to be massively nerfed (you have to get about 6 ult procs to break even). Guess we get to wait for a couple years for him to be relevant again.
he will still be good, the ultimate nerf was needed it was too powerful however some compensation buff's may of been nice attached to his Q or even W, not a lot just a little and as his Q is a skill shot i think thats the most reliable place to buff a little.
i thought his core item was more zonya's so he could get in and stay in, shows how much i play him lol.
The nerf is positively shocking! I'm not shuriken deal with this upset.
His ult was insane.....you could actually burst a volibear through his passive or mundo through his ult with releative ease with it, hes supposed to be a kite mage that waits for the right opening to go in and wreck havoc, not force his way in regardless of the situation
If you ghosted or something you might be able to keep them in the ult, otherwise zhonyas just won't cut it.
