riot, why is solo queue on hold?

I realize you might get flamed for answering this question, but I think most of the community would appreciate an honest answer. What is riot's current thoughts on solo queue? What conditions would lead to it being scrapped? Is there a chance of going back to the previous system solo/duo and team ranked system?

Personally I would prefer the old solo/duo system with the new champ select. I do not have enough friends near my skill level to consistently play as 5, but I really enjoy playing with at least one other person.

Because they're too proud of Dynamic to admit it was a mistake to force people into it by disabling solo queue. They also know that if solo queue were to come back, a large amount of people would abandon Dynamic, and all of their hard work to perfect it would be wasted. They've convinced themselves this is the right decision, and if we were given the option, they wouldn't want to be proven wrong seeing their project end up being not nearly as supported as they thought it was.

It's not on hold. It was never going to come in the first place.

Riot placated the masses by stating and making false promises in order to control some of the initial flames upon release. It's been months later, and they had hoped for people to either forget about it or just stick and adapt to Dynamic Queue.

I'm sorry, but we've been lied to. I haven't bought RP in two years despite all the amazing skins they push out.

SoloQ is "on hold" because they know it will kill DynamicQ. Everyone that plays solo will go to SoloQ for faster que times, no premade bullshit, and just the experience that they have been asking for for ages. DynamicQ will just be premade against premade.

Long story short, they wont release SoloQ because they already know the result will be DynamicQ dieing off.

Because solo queue adds nothing to the game except for making queue times worse. If you want to duo, dynamic queue works, if you want to 3, 4, or 5 man, dynamic queue works.

And the biggest secret that players don't want you to know? If you want to play solo, dynamic queue still works at least 95% as effectively as the old solo/duo queue.
