Most used summoner spell
No one can go a game without it without being severely handicapped
But Riot can never get rid of it because to many escapless champs rely on it for the sake of balance.
Ether flash needs to go (unlikely to happen) or The other summoners need to be reworked or buffed to be on par with flash. It;s just to good of a summoner spell not to use.
Masala Chai1 votesThere are quite a few champs that often forgo flash in favour of things like Ghost. Biggest example is things like Olaf, Shaco, and Singed. Some odd cases with stuff like Warwick, but in general it's not 100% needed on every member of the cast.

Jungle used to be so dependent on her teammates that most players would go

Flash is also dominant because you can never really have "enough" mobility..but you can have "enough" of a combat stat advantage.

Shyvana had/has more than enough combat stats to be impactful and easily 1 v 1 players. The reason she takes exhaust is because she has no way to lock down targets on a gank. She has a massive speed boost and using exhaust on a target allows her to sit on them with her auto attacks and burn. Flash is pointless on champions with massive ms and she has a gapcloser with R. There is a reason why singed/olaf/hecarim take ghost instead of flash and that is one of the reasons shy doesn't go it either. Speed devil bruisers that rely on damage over time with tons of autos/burn effects don't need it; they need to be able to sit on a target which flash doesn't provide.
Now she just power farms so hard from her combat ability that she doesn't really need to gank.
