Nasus can farm off of Illaoi's tentacles
Okay that title sounded a lot less strange in my head...but moving, seriously, it's ridiculous how quickly he stacks using those tentacles....seriously it just sounds weird no matter how you say it.

He can do the same with heimer turrets and malzahar pets. I guess against Elise spiderlings too but I never had a chance to test since I don't play either.
Yeah but he usually doesn't lane against those champions, however Illaoi is usually going to be a top laner, so he's easily a counter. Seriously man, 700+ stacks at 20 minutesshudders
He can also do that on wards and towers, anything he last-hits counts as long as it's done with his q, I think only inhibitors (maybe nexus?) don't count, don't remember too well, it's been a lot since I last played him.

Buildings don't, GP barrels don't, Zyra plants don't, and Heimer turrets don't. Yorick ghouls do though.
I can assure you towers do count as long as last hit is with q, don't know about gp barrels, but zyra plants and heimer turret do (not 100% sure on the plants but turret counted last time I saw him). Think I will try again (maybe later) against bots and will let you know if I'm wrong ^^.

Gp barrels can be stacked. Unless they changed it recently.
Thought that was strange, my cousin sometimes plays him and sais he can stack almost anything he can kill with q.
so what you're saying is, a champion is going to counter another champion? shocker
A good
counters anything as long as he can farm... we all know he BS when farmed
700 at 20 minutes is literally impossible.
About 657, so yeah I exaggerated but still.
That's still far out beyond the bounds of possibility.
It's possible to go other lanes, you know :V
If there's an enemy assassin mid, you can head there and let your midlaner go top lane. Sure, it isn't meta, but it's probably a better strat than sticking to a meta that's going to kick your ass that game.

The one I've heard was Yorick's Ghouls. In either case, it really gives a new definition to the phrase, "feeding Nasus."
So are we still pretending Nasus' Q has no cooldown?
Nasus q has almost no cd at rank 5 with some cdr, so it's pretty spammable, and with the new mastery that heals you every 4 sec in battle, it's even stronger.
's void spawn are also stackable
how many hits does a tentacle take before it's destroyed?

I'm not sure that this really makes a big difference. I mean, in lane you're pretty much using Q off cooldown whenever you can and the cooldown tends to be the thing limiting your stacks, not a lack of targets to Q. On top of that, it's not like he's going to want to just want into the tentacles and open himself up to be punished. Nasus still isn't a strong early fighter, and if he gets caught by Illaoi while he's heading towards a tentacle, he's going to take a lot of damage if she gets an easy E-W off. That risk is probably going to limit the number of tentacle kills he gets significantly.
I mean, it's nice to get a couple extra stacks, but this isn't enough for me to consider him a counter. Honestly, I wouldn't want to play him into her. I think her early fighting is just a bit too strong, and she's actually capable of beating him in a manfight later in the game. Although, she can't peel him off her carries at all, so that's actually kind of nice.
