Some ideas to modify Sion's new passive

Sion's new playstyle is pretty fun, though I'm still learning how to make good use of everything (so easy to miss with him, but that's justified). One thing I don't like, however, is how his passive is rather hit-or-miss, with more miss than hit.

It's very easy to get away from Sion while he's standing there, roaring like a dumbass before going all L4D Tank. And once he's in that state, he's still easy to stop with one quick CC, on top of being killable via damage.

To make it more favorable to Sion, but also make it dynamic enough that any upgrades aren't broken in his favor, I'd like to suggest the following:

  • Reduce the time he spends entering his "Undead Frenzy" state.
  • Add a CC-purge effect to Death Surge (ala Gangplank's Remove Scurvy).
  • Refresh Death Surge's cooldown if Sion kills someone while Frenzied (does not count assists).

The CC-purge, in particular, would be really nice, as it would give you an incentive to withhold Death Surge for a second. Use it after someone tries to stun-and-run, and you leave them wetting themselves as you tear them limb from limb.

the passive is crappy because it has to be, sion cant go pentakilling just because he died also his passive is more of a tank role than damage dealing passive, you become slow but dangerous so ppl have to waste stuff on already dead person instead going for your carry

so yeah.. the passive is crappy but it does its job also i played sion vs anivia once, you can go suicidal on her she will always die

Sounds like that Anivia didn't know what she was doing. She should be able to kite Sion easily. And once he uses his passive, she could just wall him and she's safe.

She can also wall his ultimate and make him crash into it.

she is just too squishy, you easily pop her egg with single hits early

Then she zoned poorly. Why would Anivia ever get close enough to let you damage her in early laning? She could just sit back, throw Q's at you, and E you if she lands a hit.

Anyhow, Anivia is off-topic here, so...

because i went behind her back from the jungle or fought in the jungle

well its a given that im not laning vs her

You say that as if only Anivia and no other mage would die from being jungle-ganked from behind.

yeah but anivia has a real problem with sion, if sion dies and pops her egg she has no chance (some other champs might not have the damage or cooldowns to kill the egg, or well they could be dead before detonating it )
