Riot, these upcoming changes are crazy risky!

Reworking a bunch of tanky melees while also reworking the whole defensive item arsenal will definitely have huge effects on the META. If anyone says Riot has no balls, they're wrong. But I'm personally afraid that there will be unwanted side-effects, I hope I'm wrong.

Anyways, why did you choose to do these changes a few months before the end of the season, when everyone is trying to get that one tier higher, instead of doing it in the preseason like all other big changes?
