Buff or rework support role

So many players currently troll in rankeds when they are supports currently. Rankeds are unplayable. They troll because they don't have marksman, they troll because they feel weak, they troll because support role is not rewarding. They troll because adc+support will be destroyed by two mages so they rather troll from start. Same with adc players, they refuse to play with mages on bot. Rankeds are really joke now. 14 games out of 16 last sbd hyper-trolled in my team. Another group is junglers, they are simply trolling when they die, probably they feel too weak in the game due to exp nerfs or whatever. And make some educational video for marksmen, so they can play normally with mage supports and against them. I love the new meta, just people behave so ugly in it. Every second player thinks you can be banned for playing vladimir on bot. if you pick fiddlestick to adc, then adc is inting and want report fiddle. etc. you made botlane too dependant on marksmen+support. I dunno made frontlane video about how to play double mages on bot or w/e.

Maybe I dont want to play mages when I play marksmen? I'm not trolling if I pick a marksmen. I'm playing who I want to play. It's not my fault or problem if two mages who aren't even balanced for a duo lane are now shit kicking me because I cant be perfect and dodge every skillshot. Nor is it my I cant survive one spell rotation and die to mages who are intended to just be flatly better than me at early levels. Nor is it my fault that Riot gutted all of the possible early game sustain options that marksmen used to have so the damage they do to me with the one or two spells they might hit now stick far too harshly, completely punishing me just for being in the lane.

If I had a choice, i would play my 525 range, no long range skillshot ADC somewhere other than bot. But riot wont give me that option either.

picking marksmen is okay. where I did say picking it is trolling ? I just hit a lot of marksmens, that TROLLS or AFK (looks like not your case) because of the changes.

idk. I don't think they need buffs, at least not enchanters, they've been broken for quite a bit now I can agree. if they just add more damage that would sure as hell push even more mages, and making everyone tankier would just make unkillable braums again. they cant exactly make it more appealing via a buff without breaking something else.

it was proposed many times that supports need portals to move between lanes. Not so sure why it was not tested. With this thing you would be compensated to less income and weaker items. (Yes they are cheaper, but you can't carry game with ardent censer and redemption, even before nerfs you needed decent adc to have impact). So yeah when your bot-lane duolaner is under-performing you have no chance to win game. As example let's look at nami, yes in early you can litterally 1v2 enemy botlane, but if your adc is sleeping the games went to mid-game and then you have zero impact, your w starts to deal significantly less % dmg and all you can do is beg to gods that your teammates will play good in teamfight.

what like.. dota teleport scrolls? it would be nice.. but they already have a summoner spell for it although it's not nearly as good. Also there is no recall in dota so that's another thing. Most of the basics of this game like recall and summoner spells were balanced around dota and what the creator had issues with like denying creeps, stacking jg camps, losing gold while dying, teleport scrolls, etc. adding portals would be too big of an ordeal to even consider when they already compensated for the lack of teleport scrolls with recall and the teleport summoner spell.

Yeah it would take a long time to balance it, maybe make it a reward like now the wards are. But portals are just one of the things that could balance the impact of supports. They should somehow brew potions for team as another example. They can heal towers. Heal baron when enemy is doing it etc... Or support item that allows you to set cc traps.

right now supports just use mobility boots when they need to roam and that's been fine for awhile.. giving them portals would require too many nerfs to them as champions for them to be effective in a lane where they were originally needed. If you gave it to "just supports" it would be hard to justify what in fact actually makes a support as you would see them being played as roles not intended for them like top and mid.. dota has a lot of team items like smoke of deceit, urn of shadows, arcane boots, drum of endurance, mekanysm, pipe of insight, forcestaff, euls and many more. I think the problem here is that League is more of a pissing contest than a team game, and is hard to balance around it due to the outlash of its playerbase turning into the mess it is in now.

Yeah but it was needed even on season 7 Janna freelo. Now you would wait ages for support.
