Why can't melee carry be changed in the same way? for example increase trynd sustain but make him unable to lane alone?

Kat will be next. Cannot ult unless her binded ADC is with her, and even then it only deals reverse damage, so if you dive onto your entire team, you will heal them a lot if you buy attack damage for her new ad ult. everything else is still AP.

I'm not sure how -increasing- trynd's sustain is supposed to make him incapable of laning alone.

'sides, different roles. Glasscannon Melee Carry =/= Bruiser.

make him unable to lane alone, like morde's W can only work if he is with someone else

gangplank felt actually pretty good to lane on bot the few times i tried. the barrels can extend the reach of his q in a way where he can poke back at the opposing adc and lasthit wit it at the same time if you throw them down properly.

i actually won lane aginst a trist/alistar with a braum at my side.
