Let's say EVERY SINGLE champion was completely balanced...

Even then, Lucian, Lee Sin, and Ezreal would see VERY high play rates with a 50% win rate (because every champion is perfectly balanced, and all the "inexperienced players" will have their counterparts in "experienced players" and then there are the "average" players)

That's simply the truth. Champions like Lee Sin & Lucian see VERY HIGH play rates even when they're considered bad (when we had devourer, Lee was not meta at all).

So all I'm saying is: only way you stop Lee sin & Lucian & Ahri to not be played every game is to absolutely gut them because they have rewarding/fun play. Because if they're EQUAL in power with other champs, they will have absurd play rates, and if they're even STRONG (like they are right now) the play rates go through the roof.

However the QQ about high play rates needs to stop because they will always have high play rates in a hypothetically perfectly balanced game.

Yes, you will always have high play rates, but the consistently high play rate of some of the champions is the sign of some underlying problem.

If they were only rewarding/fun to play as then that'd be fine, but it's the fact that they aren't fun or rewarding to play against.

Lee will always be meta, it is what it is. Even if farm jungling a devourer is the new trend, Lee can still take over games before you can farm it up.

He'll never be out of meta like farm junglers are when they are out of meta because ganks are always relevant to winning a game, no matter the meta.

Is this a Lee Sin circle jerk thread?

No one likes a dirty Lee Sin main.

another thing i hate is when people say crap like "well "Y" champ was OP "X" patches ago so they are not allowed to be balanced now, they need to be worthless.

WTF does what happened "X" patches ago.

what matters on how a champion CURRENTLY is... not how they "were".

if thier complete trash now they need a buff... if their absurdly OP now they need a nerf.

If TwistedFate has a 41% win rate right now (which it isn't)

I'm not going to be like.. " but u cant buff him because in alpha his ulti was on a basic ability and his gold card did an AOE stun.

if a champion is OP or trash a year ago or last patch it makes no difference... what matters its their balance NOW...

there is a difference between "learning from past mistakes" and "ignoring the present"

I think it's mostly people think "if I play hi skills champ I be gud" when you can actually still prove how good you are by going 22/0 with Garen.

Admit it, you probably aren't as skilled as you think you are.
