Armour negates a percentage of the damage that people bought with gold. Thats EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES.

LW ignores 45% of bonus armour?? Armour ignores 45%+ of my total damage. The difference is that armour is EFFECTIVE ON ITS OWN whereas LW is worthless unless you have high damage (ignoring 45% armour means nothing if you're doing no damage to begin with).

Lethality ignores x armour? Armour ignores x lethality too.

The circlejerk is out of control. That "armour is worthless" because its ignored by varius factors, where armour is literally DESIGNED to ignore the damage you bought.

Yeah damage outscales armour but at the same time damage is weaker early than armour - because it needs to scale. If someone builds GB early, for the same gold you can get a sunfire cape. Sunfire cape is WAYY more impactful than GB, each on its own. Its just that you probably don't realize that and don't abuse the power of that spike.
