Guide on how to out stall and out smart a baron enemy team.Long read but worth when enemy has baron.

I keep on seeing this happen from gold to diamond 5 tier team where a enemy team has baron and my team doesn't know what the hell to even do other then wait in base like a ward and wait for enemy to push to our inhibitor turrent, this is how you are suppose to counter a baron enemy who just got baron.

-Phase 1:Push all lanes as far as you can so the minion can push on their own then Base. If a enemy just got baron then you have to clear the mid wave as far as you can when enemy base after a baron while top and jungle clear both bot/top wave and pushes them until enemy group up mid and makes it half way to your side of the map when they go mid.How this work is when they push the wave mid your bot and jungler must have pushed the wave far enough so it can start pushing on its own with minion. When enemy are on your half side of the map then both top and jungler go back to base and group up mid with your turrent where the enemy should be near your base gate by now, CLEAR THE MINION with ability unless they engage pass the turrent you engage on the person with agro but by the mean time use everything you have to clear the wave with poke ability.

80% of the time enemy will never turrent dive unless they are maybe 10-15 kill over you guys so if you clear out the minion the turrent armor will be back and make it near impossible for them to take it down unless one of them is willing to tank non stop turrent shot while you harras him, remember the turrent damage stacks up so keep on damaging and CCing the person who is tanking the turrent.

-Phase 2: Enemy will try to start split pushing this is the chance to either engage or push back. This always stall out the game long enough for baron to be half way done forcing a enemy with tp usually top to B and start split push bot or top lane which should had been pushed so far back because of jungler and top pushing the wave earlier that it takes him a long time to actually push the wave to the turrent inhib, when you see him bot pushing the lane to split push then it's your teams time to all 5 man push the mid wave back to either force a fight if you can or just push it back to get some breathing space. The enemy will usually back off if they see a 5 man mid while they only have 4 person mid with top pushing bot to split, no matter what don't stop pushing mid while enemy top is split pushing since you will always have vision on him pushing minion. If you don't see him on minion vision then back off it means he is coming to his team or might be getting a teleport ready. Try your best to harras or engage one of them to at least take one person down or force them low enough to force them to back off and heal giving you time to massive push mid then instantly base to now hold the bot lane doing this guide all over again which the top spend so much time split pushing and trust me by then their baron will only be 20-15 sec left to stall.

This also gives you a sign of telling if you still have a chance for a come back when enemy is ahead if they can't push into your base with baron then it means you still have a stability in the game to farm to late game.

Don't be a idiot and just B while enemy got baron or it's ensure that they are currently doing baron with no way stopping them from doing it you have to seize the moment to control the game by stalling with the time from either when they are doing baron or finish baron that they have to base to heal, set up the lanes so they can't split push it will always force them in a situation where they are wasting their baron time by not racking up gold or taking other turrent objectives because they all want to 5 man mid or 1 person split push bot while 4 man mid forcing enemy to face a 5 man team.

This is just a mini guide for people below platinum or people who just instantly don't know what to do after enemy get baron I should had put pictures with painting showing the map but o well.

Sorry If I have bad grammar not the best at grammar but tried to make it the best to understand.

REMEMBER DON'T BE A IDIOT AND WAIT UNTIL THE ENEMY COME KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR TAKE INITIATIVE AND TAKE CONTROL OF THE GAME.

wow

A person that has an actual insight of how the game works. Always a pleasure to stumble on such players.

Sadly, even in diamond (and some in challenger for that matter) people are just bad and don't know what they should do or do things they haven't got a clue why they're doing them. :)

^^^ I wanted to put diamond in but felt like I will be bitched out by them if I do for challenger I can't say because I never reached that tier but lets hope not.

This is also what the pros even do in LCS/EU/LCK people can actually learn a lot from what they do but not everything from pro play can be used in normal rank matches but if you look closely you can see what they do in that situation that can be transfer to normal game.

Hes right when it comes to a five man team but in solo, you have to stick together no matter what or someone always gets caught, happens everytime.

I agree with most of what you suggest, BUT!

You describe a very positive cenario for the defending team. Many (most of the?) times Nash goes down, your team maybe has contested and some members died along the way, so now you dont have the ability to push more than one/two lanes beforehead. OR The enemy team is healthy enough afterwards and not stupid, so they keep pushing top/mid right away without backing first.

Well if you want to contest then always wait for baron to be under 50% to maybe 40% hp to contest because you want baron to damage them while you keep on harassing them forcing to turn non stop making the baron damage them more, people don't get that baron actually does a huge amount of damage if it's not by the 35 min mark. NEVER ENGAGE baron if it's more then half hp dear heaven you can't imagine how much idiots engage a enemy who just started baron rather then wait for baron to do the damage on them while your team harras them in the mean time.

But back to the first part if your team contested and lost but not every member then they should just back off and push any lane they are close to since enemy must be at least low that they have to B. The pusher can be any person to let you know even these meta AP support like Zyra or Malz you don't need it push it all the way you just need to push it so it get across half of the map then Base. 90% of the time enemy always push mid lane so if you want you can push mid lane to stall.

2nd part that can't happen if you tried to contest they must be at least low or down 1-2 players on the enemy side if not then the enemy will push to your turrent but you can rotate, you clear top fast with a adc or maybe mid you can also have a top with you then, when you clear it you rotate back to mid clearing that wave with a 5 man while the enemy solo split pusher who is top has to wait for a new wave of minion to take the turrent. Repeat this cycle since it always force top to wait for a new minion batch to tank while you are at mid 5v4 clearing those minion and after you clear those mid minion you go back to top forcing mid to wait for THEIR new minion wave. But if you are saying the enemy stopped your contest by killing your whole team not losing one person and have enough HP to push mid then it's clear that you guys are so far behind that chances of you even making a come back or winning is 20% at best.

There is also another tactic but it's the desperate no matter what situation, one person maybe be support if he is the last living person or top cut through jungle and bait the minion to follow him while he try to clear it. It will mean this player death but it will at least stall the wave and enemy push quite a time until your team to come back up again. <<<<Pros use this tactic from Biofrost/SKT/EU team. I did it and saw team mate even do it when enemy is at our nexus turrent, he would try to clear the stack up minion in front then go from the side to use ability of minion or just bait them to follow him, it works but it's a 30% chance if all your team is dead except for 1 person.

Sorry if you don't really understand I sort of want to use a map and paint it showing the steps.

So for the desperate move - like going behind the enemy team while they try to take turrets to stall their wave and prevent them from being able to take the turret without tanking it? Is it sort of like that?

It's like you sneek behind them when they try to push and cut the minion line off so they don't get a new batch of minion to tank the turrent, it actually works but it's sort of a final resort to stall the game long enough so your team get revive. You also have to try to use ability to clear the current wave your enemy have with them or your team has to clear them while you sneek behind to cut the wave off.

Another cool thing to do is to look for stragglers. Usually a Baron takes a lot out of the enemy team and makes them back. Use that time to catch anyone who recalled too slow and get several free picks. That way, you can use the numbers advantage to push back.

Only thing you overlook is that most of the time the enemy has gotten one of your inhibitors down before going for Baron which skews your strategy since it's very difficult to push out an inhibitorless lane in a speedy fashion, even with a wave clear mage. Do you have any tips for how to deal with that scenario?

What do I do with a team that has horrible macro play? Like, should I group up and hope for the best? Or keep trying to split and picking people off? And when I say horrible macro play, I mean, they base at wrong times, they never pressure a lane, I always get 5 manned, the enemy never gets punished, they never group around objectives and they mostly sit around fiddling their thumbs while the enemy out rotates us in every way.

I think your post is good but misleading at the same time. What you described is basically the ideal scenario in a shitty situation where the enemy got Baron. I push out the wave near top or mid if it's pushing towards me after Baron if I'm confident no one can stop me. Plus you also get that one person every now and then that tries what you say about pushing the wave out and instinctively or pinged my team just murders the crap out of that person unless they have insane escape potential. Plus depending on who was at Baron and the team comp it is possible to do Baron with minimal damage. An ADC+tank/bruiser+support can do baron while remaining near full health. Split pushing with Baron is extremely difficult to stop and typically requires strong wave clear from a somewhat safe range. When done correctly it forces the enemy to decide to either lose turrent to minions or send someone to clear it and THEN get pushed off the tower and/or dived usually as 5v4. I feel your post banking too much on enemy misplay rather than teamplay.

Hell, some champs late game can solo Baron and walk out with full health.

The worst thing you can do is let a massive enemy minion wave that is pushing keep pushing. It is hard enough to clear 6 minions let alone 20.
